Step 1 – Open Your VELUX Window

Gently open your roof window so you can access the top edge of the sash (the moving part of the window).

The identification plate is not visible when the window is closed, so you will need to open it slightly to locate it.

Step 2 – Locate the Identification Plate

Once the window is open, look along the top edge of the sash. You’ll see a small metal plate or sticker fixed into the frame.

This plate contains important product details, including:

  • Model code
  • Size code
  • Additional manufacturing information

It’s usually silver, grey, or black with printed text.

Step 3 – Note Down the Window Code

On the plate, you’ll see a combination of letters and numbers.

For example:

  • GGL MK04
  • GGU CK02
  • GPL FK06

The size code (such as MK04, CK02 or FK06) is the most important part when selecting your blind. Make sure you copy it exactly as shown, including any letters.

Once you have this code, you can confidently choose the correct blind size in our calculator.

If you’re unsure or the label is worn or difficult to read, simply take a clear photo of the plate and contact us. We’ll be happy to help you confirm the correct window code before you place your order.

Order Dispatch & Tracking

As soon as your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking code via email. This allows you to monitor your delivery directly with the courier and plan for its arrival.

If you have not received tracking information within the expected timeframe, please check your junk or spam folder before contacting us.

  • Deliveries are made to the address provided at checkout.
  • Please ensure all delivery details are correct at the time of ordering.
  • If your order arrives visibly damaged, please report this to the courier at the time of delivery and contact us promptly.

Returns Policy

We want you to feel confident when placing your order with us. If you change your mind, you may return unwanted items in accordance with the policy below.

Returning Unwanted Items

  • Unwanted items can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging and in a fully resalable condition.
  • If a blind has been installed and the red tags have been removed, we are unfortunately unable to accept a return.
  • Return shipping costs apply.
  • Returned items remain the responsibility of the customer until they are received by us.

To initiate a return, please contact us via our Contact Page. We will then provide you with detailed return instructions.

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will process your refund to your original method of payment within 7 working days.

Faulty or Damaged Items

We take great care to ensure all products arrive in perfect condition. However, if your order arrives damaged or develops a fault, please follow the steps below:

  • If your item arrives damaged, please report it to the courier at the time of delivery.
  • You must notify us within 7 working days of delivery if any damage is identified.
  • Any faults or damages noticed during installation must also be reported within 7 working days.
